This is my third bread machine. My first was the original Zojirushi, and the second is the Breadman. I still use the Breadman and Zojirushi BBCCX20. According to most baking sites I've seen OS Breadman and are the main actors in this category today, so here is my comparison:
- The OS is more tightly constructed and more powerful engine. It may be hard to deal with the test engine that literally stopped my Breadman.
- The OS is much quieter than Breadman. Breadman cooking sounds around in their videos and make quite a racket during kneading.
- Unfortunately, annoying 15 seconds control signal to signal a good time to add nuts or fruit. AFAIK, there is no way to disable this function. For me this is a big problem, because I love to use to put my bread machine bread at night, and asks me a lot of hot bread for breakfast. With a 15-second signal, which sounds a bit like an alarm clock, using BBCCX20 Zo night is simply not an option. I wish it was possible to turn it off.
- Paddles twice-Zo do a better job of mixing the ingredients without having to scrape the sides of pan.
- Breadman machine is much more flexible. This is the "Pause" allows you to add 15 minutes to a point in the cycle. Without the opportunity to pause, start Zo times before baking bread is fully tested. With bread, where the length of climb depends on many factors, including the flexibility to stop during the cycle is very valuable. You can place different cycles of the operating system, but this is only one solution if you know in advance that the bread will take some time for further confirmation.
- Monitoring of the Earth's crust is better in the Breadman. Even the set of "light" crust, usually for Zo production of dark-crusted bread that has lots of sugar.
- The Breadman has a small window that automatically removes the "post" (fruits, nuts, etc.) to the desired point in the cycle. You just have to load at the beginning of the cycle and the door to "trap" free goodies at the right time at the end of the kneading cycle.
In a word: OS is better built, more powerful, quieter bread machine. This is a solid, reliable and very good test that will stay small machine. In Breadman, however, gives greater flexibility to make changes in your cycle when you started and get the crust you want. He also has an automatic fruit / nut dispenser and is no longer an annoying beep. If Zojirushi and Breadman operating system combines engine and mechanics with the display Breadman and programming, they will have good bread machine. Anyway, should be selected based on the most important to you.
